We were *lucky* enough to get hit with a handful of power outages this past winter. The nice thing about power outages in New England is that everything comes to a standstill and I can ignore all my work responsibilities without guilt - no email, no editing, no sewing! Of course it also means no heat, no hot food and stoking the fire every hour but when you have views this beautiful who can complain? 

We headed to our local hiking spot at the end of the street and our *secret* beach - the views were so pretty. Enjoy!
