TURN TIMES: This cozy cowl will ship in 1 - 3 business days. We also offer e-gift cards.
Our San Ignacio cozy cowl is gorgeous, unique and super comfy. This is a two sided, reversible cowl and once you have it on, you won't want to take it off! One side is made from a Guatemalan fabric in a vintage purple/orange/black pattern and the other side is a super soft and cozy black sherpa fabric.
Wear either side for maximum versatility!
No matter which side you wear you will be snuggled up in warmth and softness. Perfect for all outdoor activities and also for for fighting off the chill at home or work.
This cowl is perfect for winter but also could be easily worn year round on cooler beach and camping nights. It reminds me of our trip to San Ignacio, Mexico (it's namesake) where we camped on a seaside cliff so that we could take small boats out to the bay to see the baby grey whales that had been born there (trip of a lifetime btw). The days were warm but the nights around the campfire were cold and windy and this would've been perfect for that trip.
The purple side of this fabric was woven and dyed in a women's cooperative in Guatemala. The dye has been fixed but to be safe, please only wash with dark colors. The color is quite hard to capture in photos, it is primarily purple with bits of orange, black, blue and yellow throughout. It has a beautiful, faded vintage look to it.
Please Note: This cowl is appx. 28" in circumference which will fit easily over most people's heads easily. I have a pretty large noggin' and it fits over my head easily. If you have a head larger than 28" around please contact me so I can make your cowl a bit larger. For kids we offer a 24" circumference. The fabric does not stretch so please choose accordingly.
